Show at NHTI Concord Library

So a lot of things exciting things have happened since I last posted, or made anything.  I spent a bunch of time climbing and traveling and not making things.  It is actually one of the things I missed most, well that and IPAs.  But since I have been back in the states I found I got into Grad School!!! So I will be going back to school in the Fall to get my MFA and I hung a show at the NHTI library in Concord NH I am Having a Closing Reception this Sunday March 30 5-7 pm I will make sure there are some delicious things to eat.  If you are in the area I would be psyched if you stopped by.

Oh and because all blogs need pictures here is something I am working on,  I taught my buddies casting class while he was away and cast the glass a couple weeks ago as a color Demo.  I am tentatively thinking of calling it Sun Sled.
Note the beer in the back ground, it is an important part of the process.  Specially after so many glue joints.  The copper is glued together, not soddered.

There are days when I am working I feel more like a mad scientist than an artist.  I also spent three hours at Lowes looking through hardware and plumbing supplies, the employees look at you funny when you stack a variety of nuts and bolts onto a glass thing and mutter to yourself.  Go figure.
